INITIATIVE OF THE IBERO-AMERICAN DATA PROTECTION OBSERVATORY

The Observatory was created as a personal initiative, whose main objective is to disseminate the culture of privacy and data protection, promoting knowledge of the existing legislation and jurisprudence in this respect, the rights and actions that citizens have, trying to promote a climate of legal security in the processing of personal data, which contributes to the development of legal sciences in Spain and Latin America.

MADRID CHAPTER OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PRIVACY PROFESSIONALS

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) is a non-profit membership association founded in 2000. It provides a forum for privacy professionals to share best practices, track trends, advance privacy management issues, standardise designations for privacy professionals, provide education and guidance on career opportunities in the field of information privacy.

The IAPP offers a comprehensive set of educational and professional development services, including privacy training, certification programmes, publications and annual conferences.
