Omar Seghrouchni

Omar Seghrouchni was born on 24 October 1962 in Rabat.

He graduated in 1986 from the Ecole Mohammédia d’Ingénieurs en Génie Electrique, option Automatique et Informatique Industrielle, then, in 1987, from the Université Paris IX – Dauphine and the Ecole des Mines de Paris with a DEA in Mathematics and Automation. He also holds a master’s degree in Diplomacy and Strategy from CEDS in Paris and a master’s degree in Economic Intelligence from the Ecole de Guerre Economique in Paris.

He started his career in 1988, in France, in the world of research (in the world of real time and embedded systems), before joining organisational and information systems consulting structures, and then creating his own firm.

Omar Seghrouchni has managed several major transformation projects in both the private and public sectors, in France and Morocco, and more widely in Europe. He has accompanied the different waves of urban planning and corporate architecture. He has developed the concept of «governance of transformations».

Since 2010, he has been a member of the CNDP (National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection). His Majesty the King, may God assist him, appointed him, on 17 November 2018, President of this same Commission.
