Gloria de la Fuente González

She is a political scientist from the Catholic University of Chile and holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Chile and has taught at various universities in the country on issues related to transparency and the quality of democracy.

Professionally, she has worked closely on transparency issues, working as a consultant for the CPLT and the Transparency and Access to Public Information Network (RTA). She has also worked as project manager at Chile Transparente, the Chilean chapter of Transparency International, and has been a member of the board of Fundación Proacceso.

Between 2006 and 2010 she worked at the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency.

Until 29 October 2020, she held the presidency of the Chile 21 Foundation, a position she resigned to begin her term as president of the Council for Transparency. She is a member of the Permanent Advisory Council for State Reform and has worked as a political analyst on radio and television programmes.
